Welcome!
This website is devoted to my research
in MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) at University of
California, Irvine. I'm a graduate student in Electrical Engineering,
working as a researcher in Professor Andrei Shkel's Microsystems
Lab.
Microelectromechanical systems are miniature devices that
usually include both electrical and mechanical parts. MEMS
are normally fabricated with the same lithography-based techniques
and equipment used in the microelectronics industry. Today
MEMS are used in many different industries, e.g. automotive,
consumer electronics, telecommunication, and medical. Some
of the most commercially successful applications include accelerometers
in airbag deployment systems, gyroscopes for rollover detection
in cars, micronozzles in inkjet printers, and micromirrors
in digital projectors.

or suggestions, feel free to send me an email.
